Real estate sales, for instance, can take months to finalize due to the need for appraisals, inspections, and legal processes. The illiquidity of such assets restricts investment flexibility.

2. Accessibility

Tokenization: By enabling fractional ownership, tokenization lowers the entry barriers for investors looking to participate in high-value markets. For instance, investors can own a fraction of a luxury property or a renowned piece of art, allowing diversification across asset classes without needing substantial capital.

Traditional Ownership: Investing in traditional assets generally requires significant upfront capital. For instance, purchasing a residential property or an expensive artwork requires buyers to have substantial funds at their disposal, excluding many potential investors from participation.

Tokenization: Blockchain technology underlies tokenization, providing a transparent and immutable ledger of ownership that enhances trust among stakeholders. Every transaction is recorded on the blockchain, making it easier to verify ownership and transaction history.

Tokenization: While tokenization presents numerous advantages, it also introduces regulatory hurdles. Traditional Ownership: Traditional asset markets operate within specific hours. Real estate transactions or art auctions are often constrained to business hours, limiting opportunities for investors and requiring careful scheduling.
